Chartering Service of Brighton's West Hill Baptist Chapel
'…that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ,
to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.'
1 Peter 4v11
We rejoice that church planting is not dead and that God is using newly established churches to reach into the hearts of communities all throughout the United Kingdom. We praise the Lord that on 13 May 2018 we witnessed Brighton's West Hill Baptist Chapel become an organised church! It was a blessing to have Dr. Clarence Sexton (pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee, USA, and founder and president of the Crown College of the Bible) as the guest speaker that evening. Dr. Sexton has a great burden for the work of reaching people in United Kingdom with the gospel and has given his life to training others for the service of the Lord, specifically in church planting and evangelistic Sunday School efforts. Many people came to the special chartering service from the local community and other church planting works and established churches from across England to encourage and support Pastor Jonathan and Lindsay McClure. We praise God for providing this lovely building for Brighton's West Hill Baptist Chapel to meet in each week. Please pray with us for the young people and adults that are being ministered to on a weekly basis through the evangelistic Sunday School and Bible Club, English Classes, services, outreach, and more!
